24th of July Weekend – Tony Grove Lake

So,  for the 24th of July weekend, we went camping up at Tony Grove Lake in Logan Canyon. It was a very enjoyable weekend. We were able to relax and have a lot of fun.

As usual, I started the trip off right by getting up at the crack of dawn to take some photos. Here are a few.

The little ones had their fair share of fun playing in the dish water and dirt!

Of course, we took plenty of time to play in the lake!<Samsung D70 / D75 / S730 / S750> <Samsung D70 / D75 / S730 / S750> <Samsung D70 / D75 / S730 / S750><Samsung D70 / D75 / S730 / S750>

Park City

For our 1st Anniversary, we decided to spend the weekend in Park City. It was very fun. Despite a lot of rain that "dampened" some of our plans, we had a really nice weekend.

We were there during the annual Savor the Summit food and music festival. All the restaurants along Main Street set up tables in the middle of the road. It's the "longest" dinner party in Park City.

We decided to enjoy some fantastic BBQ from one of our favorite restaurants, Bandits. All while being treated to free jazz music from live bands up and down Main St.

Saturday, we had planned to go canoeing on the Jordanelle. However, as previously noted, it was pretty stormy. So we went shopping instead. We also enjoyed a relaxing afternoon by the pool and hot tub at our hotel.

We finally had a chance to do a little canoeing on our way home. And of course, Daniel was as big a goofball as he usually is.

We tried to get a good picture of the two of us. But the combination of a timer, rocking canoe and an unsteady camera makes for a hard time.
Finally, after several attempts... Success!! And just in time too. It started raining again right after we finished with the picture.

We took a nice drive through the Alpine Loop on our way home and stopped off at Cascade Springs.
