Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving we went down south to St George. We ate a traditional Thanksgiving dinner at The Cracker Barrel. It was wonderful!!!

We went to the Valley of Fire the next day and had a wonderful climbing on rocks
and taking cool pictures.

The next morning Lindsey, Daniel and I woke and went to the ST George Temple. It was so beautiful. Daniel woke up extra early so he could get some pictures of the Temple. I think that they are amazing.

The Scorpion Sucker

This post was added by Daniel:

For my first addition to our great little blog, I wanted to do something special. Something a little… well… unique. Over the past few weeks, I’ve pondered about just what I could contribute that would be worth posting for all to enjoy. This past weekend, I found it.

As some of you readers may already know, we spent Thanksgiving weekend down in St. George with Ashley’s family. It was a fabulous getaway weekend full of relaxation, adventure, and occasional bits of comic relief for all involved.

I’m sure Ashley will give a more detailed account of our trip soon enough. But for now, I just wanted to share one of the highlights that I (along with many others, I’m sure) may never... ever… forget!

Enjoy!

P.S. Morgan - This one's for you!

The Apartment

We have received relentless requests to put a picture tour of our apartment on our blog. So here it is (along with a "Before and After" video tour). We moved in gradually all June and still are making final touches here and there. I love out apartment it truly feels like home!!

The "Before We Moved In" Tour

The "After We've Lived Here A While" Tour

Here is our living room. It is my favorite room in the apartment!!!! Most of the things in this room were given to us or found on KSL classifieds for a really great deal!!! All the pictures you will see in our place are either of our wedding or taken by Daniel. It is so great to have a photographer in the apartment. Thanks to him, we don't have any ugly walls in the house!

Here is the wonderful Kitchen. We don't have a lot of counter space, but it is a nice size. It works for all our needs. We are lucky enough to have a 4 hand dishwasher. We can do a lot in this little kitchen. My new adventure is trying to make rolls. It is still a work in progress.

Yep... here is the bathroom. 'Nuf said.

Here is the computer room, also known as "Daniel's Room" He spends a lot of time in the room with his photo editing, music playing and recording, and all the home work that he has. We have two chairs in there so I can sit and be with him while he is in there.

This is the fabulous bedroom. We were able to get this bedroom set at RC Willey at the Memorial Day Sale. My favorite thing about this room is the big picture over our bed. Daniel took it when we went camping over the summer it is so beautiful.

Well... that is our home. We hope you enjoyed the tour!!!!!

Daniel Sugden Olsen

I asked my wonderful husband what I should blog about. His response (and I quote), "You should blog about how cool I am." So here is a blog about my husband. We met in Young Single Adult Ward in June of 2007 when I got home from mission. I was not ready to date when he asked me out in August. So, with a lot of patience on his end, he waited until I was ready. He keeps me laughing and helps me to look at the positive side of life. He is going to school at SLCC, working on his Biotechnology degree. He will transfer to UVU in the spring. He is brilliant when itcomes to biology and chemistry. I am so grateful to have him in my life.

Daniel is a man of many talents he made that apple pie!!
P.S. By the way, it was from "scratch"!

He loves to be outdoors and does anything along the lines of CRAZY!!

Daniel is a wonderful photographer and loves to take pictures. Here are some of my favorites!!

4th of July

Happy 4th of July

Daniel and I went to the REAL Soccer Game Thursday night with Brandon and Ali. It was so much fun. We were able to see some great fireworks after the game. Thank you Brandon and Ali for the tickets!!

Here is a cool picture that Daniel took.

Friday Morning we went to the Provo 4th of July Parade with my family. We had so much fun watching Dashiel watch the Parade! He would say "Way to go car" "Way to go another car" He was so cute!!!

Myles was cute waving his little flag!

Here is the whole clan. It was a blast!!!

That night we hosted a BBQ with the Olsens. We are so lucky to have West Jordan Park as our backyard. We had the BBQ there, played games and relaxed until the fireworks show.

Got to LOVE BBQ!

We are so grateful for the wonderful family we have. I am also grateful for the freedom that we have. We are so lucky to live in the country that we live in. "GOD BLESS AMERICA!"

My Very Own Blog

So I have talked about creating a blog for a long time now. I was going to create one so everyone could see how all the wedding plans were going. As you can see, that didn't work out. I have been married for a week and a half now and here is my very first blog. YAY!!! I did it!
