For the 4th of July this year we went down to Mt Pleasant with my family. It was fun to spend the holiday in small town America where they go all out for Independence Day.
They had a parade that morning. My nephews had so much fun running out to catch all the candy that was thrown.
After the parade, we had a BBQ at my aunt and uncle's house. My cousin is a reenactor for the Revolutionary War time. He has an authentic muzzle-loader rifle that he let us shoot.
It was really big, and really loud!

After the rodeo, we were able to enjoy some beautiful fireworks. I love celebrating the freedom that we enjoy because we are blessed to be living the U.S.A.!God Bless America!!
